Cavaday wins Brescia title

Naomi Cavaday has won the 25,000 dollar ITF clay-court tournament in Brescia, Italy. The British number four, seeded eighth, defeated the second seed, Andrea Hlavackova of the Czech Republic in straight sets, 6-2, 6-4.
Cavaday, 21, from Kent, has now won three ITF Singles titles in her career so far. She was also successful in the Doubles competition, lifting the crown with partner Anastasia Pivovarova of Russia.
Cavaday and Pivovarova, the third seeds, defeated Iryna Kuryanovich (Belarus) and Valeria Savinykh (Russia) on a match tie-break, 6-3, 6-7(5), [10-8].
Cavaday now moves on to Florence to compete in another 25,000 dollar ITF clay-court tournament this week.
