Flemski fall to Bryan brothers in San Jose

The Doubles duo of Colin Fleming and Ken Skupski, known as 'Flemski', lost their first round match in San Jose to the top seeds, Bob and Mike Bryan.

The Bryan brothers, the world number one pairing, defeated the 26th pairing of Fleming and Skupski in straight sets, 6-2, 6-4. On his Twitter page, Skupski commented, ''Outplayed in all areas tonight''.

In the Doubles event at the ATP Challenger tournament in Bergamo, Italy, the second seeds Jonathan Marray and Jamie Murray moved into the second round with a win over Dustin Brown (Jamaica) and Harsh Mankad (India). The British pair won on a Match Tie-break, 6-1, 6-7(4), 10-7.

Marray broke into the Doubles top hundred for the first time in November 2009, and currently has a career high ranking of number 87. After slipping out of the top hundred in October 2009, Jamie Murray broke through this barrier again in January, and now has a ranking of number 94. He has been ranked as high as 27 in the world for Doubles, in February 2009.

Jamie Delgado also won his opening match with partner Ilija Bozoljac of Serbia. They defeated the Italian pairing of Marco Crugnola and Stefano Galvani in straight sets, 6-1, 6-4.
