O'Brien falls to Craybas

Katie O'Brien lost her first round match at the French Open on Tuesday to American Jill Craybas.

Craybas took the first set by six games to love, before O'Brien rallied to take the second 6-4. However, Craybas won the final set 6-2, to move into the next round. O'Brien produced 59 unforced errors in a match that lasted two hours and five minutes.

Craybas, 35, is currently ranked just outside the top one hundred at 101, but the end of the 2009 season, marked her ninth consecutive year inside the world's top 100.

The American will now play the 29th seed, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova of Russia in round two.
