O'Brien reaches Woking final

British number two Katie O'Brien has reached the final of the Aegon Pro-Series tournament in Woking. The third seed defeated Emma Laine in three sets, 6-1, 3-6, 6-3.
O'Brien, 24, is currently ranked 196 places above Laine at number 138, but the Finlander has been ranked as high as 50 in the world in 2006.
O'Brien reached her own career high ranking of number 84 in February. She will now face seventeen year old Timea Babos of Hungary in Saturday's final at the Foxhills Lawn Tennis Club.
Babos, who won the Girls' Wimbledon Doubles title with Sloane Stephens (USA) earlier this month, defeated Nigina Abduraimova of Uzbekistan in her semifinal match, 7-5, 6-3.
In the semifinals of the Doubles competition, Britain's Jocelyn Rae and partner Emelyn Starr (Australia), defeated Nigina Abduraimova (Uzbekistan) and Tammi Patterson (Australia), 6-3, 4-6, [10-3].
Rae and Starr will now play Timea Babos and Emma Laine in the final.
