Andy Murray has accepted a wild card into the Farmers Classic in Los Angeles, an event not originally on his schedule. The top seed has a bye in the first round, and will await the winner of the match between Russian Teymuraz Gabashvili and qualifier Tim Smyczek of the USA. Defending champion Sam Querrey is seeded second at the ATP 250 tournament.

In the Doubles event, Colin Fleming and Ken Skupski will face the fourth seeds, Rohan Bopanna (India) and Aisam-Ul-Haq Quereshi (Pakistan) in round one. Ross Hutchins and Jordan Kerr (Australia) will play the third seeds, Martin Damm (Czech Republic) and Michael Kohlmann (Germany) in their first round match.
