The BNP Paribas Open is taking place in Indian Wells, California this week. It consists of both a men's ATP Masters tournament and a women's WTA Premier event.
In the men's competition, Andy Murray will be in action, along with stars such as Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, Rafel Nadal, Juan Martin Del Potro, Nikolay Davydenko and Andy Roddick.
In the women's event, Anne Keothavong has been granted a place in the main draw due to a protected ranking as she continues her come back from injury. British number one Elena Baltacha will be aiming to join her in the first round proper. Baltacha is the top seed in the qualifying competition.
